In looking through some old slides, I found one that said "President Eisenhower going through KWU campus". I was so excited to have such a historic picture that I could not wait to put in on our brand new scanner and see it full size. Unfortunately, the picture was from a distance and very blurry, so it is kind of like one of those old magic eye posters…if you stare at it long enough, Ike pops right out at you!
On a serious note…thank you to those who have served and who are currently serving in our military. Bless you for the sacrifices you make to keep our country safe.

Apparently back in the day, Kansas Wesleyan University wasn’t happy with just a person in a coyote suit, they had a real live coyote as their mascot. Look at this cute little guy…apparently they even tried to train this wild beast.
